The Dollhouse TV show is an exceptional and out of the bond science fiction shows that has ever been produced. This show has been created by the well known writer cum director Joss Whedon who has yet again proved himself with this unique science fiction TV show. The show was first aired on 28th July 2009.

The concept of the show is born in futuristic labs that are situated underground and are also referred to as Dollhouses. These Dollhouses have a number of Actives that are nothing but humans who have their memories erased and their memories are then programmed with new personalities and skill sets, these Actives are also referred to as Dolls.

The Actives or Dolls are rented by rich people and companies who require them for doing several jobs and fro different purposes. And each of the Dolls memory is programmed in such a way for doing the tasks. After the completion of the task the Doll's memory is erased and used for the next task when needed again.

This series focuses on the life of one of the Dolls called Echo who resides in the Dollhouse. The character Echo is played by the beautiful Eliza Dushku. After some days Echo realizes that she is a Doll and how people are using her as one. She also slowly realizes where she is living. At the same time someone from the outer world tries to bring down the Dollhouses going against its ideas and reality of the same. They also try to get close to Echo. Although the person doesn't realize that Echo is one of the Dolls in the Dollhouses at the beginning.

Different kinds of reviews and comments were given for this show. A majority of the viewers liked the show for its new concept created by Joss Whendon, however few others also commented on that this show has nothing that is so unique and also felt that the idea is not practical and illogical. Though, critics felt that this show has made many people to raise questions which meant this has made the masses to think that this is not the same old sci-fi drama.
