I love once upon a child. I just recently spend 50 bucks there and got a bagful of clothes for both of my children.

I also go to local consignment shops. Ebay and craiglist is good too, ive seen nice stuff off there but havent actually boughtnen anything off there yet.

I washed mine in pillowcases on a delicate cycle to avoid them getting ruined.

Drying them naturally also helped, and then when they were dry I brushed them with an old hairbrush of mine and popped them in the tumble dryer for a few minutes to fluff them back up.

Did the trick for me….!

I have a four month old that my fiance and I buy things for off of craigslist. Alot of times people have bags of toys/clothes for as cheap as $10. We even got a car seat 2 diaper bags and a highchair all in great shape for $30. It’s kind of like the Goodwill though some of the items you need to jump on fast. Also try to hit up some friends with older kids that’s where half of our son’s things came from.

Yes it will help with allergies etc. I washed mine then put the in the freezer and my son doesnt have any allergies( let the dry out frist). It is always better to go over and beyond to make sure everything is just right for you new baby. and Congrats.

PetSmart has some nice puppy toys (under Dog/Nw Puppy Center). We have a cloth toy by Petstages that looks like a caterpiller that can be run under water and then put in the freezer for soothing puppy’s gums. Petstages has quite a few other toys suitable for a young puppy. You might have to wait a few weeks, since your puppy is so young.

I don’t know if you have these out there, but there are stores called “Once Upon a Child” they are great.

My biggest suggestion is to stick with “official” doggie toys. I always recommend staying away from the rubber squeekie toys as a chewer can inadvertently choke on a small piece when ripping it up. Watch your pup with stuffed toys that have squeakers inside, as these can be a choking hazard.

Rawhide chews… supervise closely as small pieces can become lodged and a choking hazard.

Cow hooves. These are great but throw them away when they’re 1/2 used up. These can be swallowed and obstructed in the gut.

Small rubber bouncy balls (human kid toy). Choking/suffocation hazard. These are 100% not allowed in my home… I’ve heard horror stories and it’s not worth the risk.

That’s all I can think of. Use common sense and “think like a dog” when it comes to stuff they’ll enjoy chewing up and ripping apart.

Dont get anything rawhide ( greenies, pig ears, or rawhide) Anything that she could chew a chunk off of them choke on.
Also nothing with the soft beads in it ( I’ve never understood why anyone would want these anyway because they are horrid to clean up after ripped open)

Kong makes one just for new puppies, its blue and white and softer than your average Kong, great for teething and whatnot.

I have gotten BEAUTIFUL brand new and lightly used baby clothes from Ebay for awesome deals!

I usually go for “lots” to cut down on shipping and keeping track of several different bids.

Also, in the spring and summer you can get the paper on a Saturday and do a day of garage sales - great deals , especially in nicer neighborhoods.

This is a kid why are you people so nasty.? Sweetie make sure your Dad has your puppy taken to the vet. Nylabone products are great I just got my new puppy (a shih tzu) who is 8 weeks a couple of them and she loves them. Good luck. I bet your puppy is very cute.
